HISTORY BEGIN SIPHONIC RAINWATER DRAINAGE SYSTEM
The current Siphonic roof drainage system is no longer a new concept. In the late 60s of the 20th century, it was initially developed by Finnish engineer Ovlai Ebling but it was not until 1972, too. The first commercial installation was recently carried out at a factory in Sweden. Since that time, the Siphonic Rainwater Drainage System has gradually spread worldwide and proven its advantages.

A rainwater drainage system is a system that collects and transports water from the roof to rainwater pipes and then leads to drains (storage tanks...).
- For residential buildings, the most common system is to use rainwater gutters installed along the eaves that direct the flow into the rainwater pipes.
- However, for large roof areas, a rainwater drainage system must be used with a roof drain (roof drain) for gravity drainage or a Siphonic (Syphonic) system. Siphonic systems are often preferred over gravity systems for roof areas of 500m2 or more. The larger the roof area and the higher the roof, the greater the advantage of the siphonic system.
